2024 McLaren GTS Performance

Additionally, the GTS holds the distinction of being the lightest car in its class, with a weight of only 3,351 lbs (DIN), and “has a segment best power-to-weight ratio of 412bhp-per-ton,” according to McLaren. The V8 M840TE 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged engine now delivers an enhanced power of 626 bhp at 7,500 rpm, with an additional 14 bhp achieved through heightened crankshaft torque facilitated by more aggressive combustion phasing and revised ignition timing.
The seven-speed SSG transmission of the McLaren GTS gives the driver an enhanced driving experience in default-from-start-up Comfort mode. In addition, drivers can enhance their supercar experience by activating two additional driving modes – Sport and Track – using the Active Dynamics Panel. Thus, the Three Active Dynamics modes include Comfort, Sport, and Track.
